Is the walkup reg for the global or just for the local ty? It was my understanding that the reg for global ended this Thursday 8/18, but you could reg day of for the local.
The Pro Divisions need to register online so the PDGA knows where to send there Global payouts if they finish well. The Ams can register the day of since there payout will be done at the course. Am Div. will be playing for the chance to qualify for a USDGC spot.

I believe most of that last post is incorrect. Since there is a players pack there will not be much a global payout for am1 and am2 (top few). A least that is how I understand it. And all divisions are offered. That includes rec, novice, etc etc. These divisions are just not put into global standings. It's just normal event for those divisions. I won't get into the promoting the sport comment. Since I know you, I know you didn't have any negative intentions, but hopefuly your post didn't dissuade anyone from coming out.
